SHC: A Dynamic Unit in a Universe of Care
Study Hall College is one of the educational institutions under Study Hall Educational Foundation (SHEF), a non-profit social enterprise that has been working for four decades to redefine education, and has built a network of initiatives and institutions around this commitment. The network comprises nine educational institutions and four outreach initiatives that provide quality education to all children, with a special focus on girls. Using a holistic, inclusive, life-outcomes-based approach, we have re-cast education across the entire range of challenges that children face in building their agency and personhood.
Since 1986, SHEF has impacted 5 million students (most of them girls from very marginalized communities), 100,000 teachers, and 20 million members of the community.

Established in 2016, Study Hall College (SHC) is a high-quality undergraduate degree college affiliated to the University of Lucknow—one among the best higher education institutes and the top college in Lucknow for BBA, BCA, BCom and BAJMC.
We aim to extend a caring and holistic life-outcome approach, use a critical social and political pedagogy, and dedicate ourselves to achieving high standards of educational excellence, creativity, and innovation.

Our Achievements
In the span of a few years, Study Hall College has shaped several university toppers and meritorious students and is therefore rightly counted as one of the best colleges in Lucknow.
In partnership with the Department of State, USA, Study Hall College hosts the English Access Microscholarship program on its campus for study-abroad aspirants. So far, four of our students have received a fully-funded community college scholarship for a year-long diploma in the USA.
Our alumni are placed at the top of their fields. We have partnerships with leading media houses, banks, and IT companies like Hindustan Times, TCS, HCL, Kotak, HDFC, and ICICI for placements and internships.
